Job Requirements and Qualifications
- Registered nurse with a valid license to practice professional nursing;
- Proven experience as a professional registered nurse;
- Familiarity with professional and technical emerging knowledge;
- Problem-solving skills and multi-tasking ability;
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills;
- Compassionate and with excellent teamwork skills.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Develops and evaluates health and wellness programs in coordination with department heads.
- Responds to medical emergencies and administers first aid to students and team members.
- Dispenses approved over-the-counter medications upon clearance from the School Physician.
- Attends to sick students and team members, refers cases to the School Physician, and coordinates with relevant parties when necessary.
- Communicates the School Physician’s recommendations regarding sick leave, class absence, or work excusal.
- Arranges transport and assists students or team members requiring hospital care or emergency services.
- Assists the School Physician during regular and special physical examinations.
