Privacy Policy

Effective September 25, 2026 ยท Questions: aetherio.business@gmail.com

This page explains, in plain language, what HungryJob PH collects when you use this site, why, who else handles it, how long it is kept, and how you can see, correct or delete it.

1. Who we are

HungryJob PH ("we") runs this job board and its member tools. We are the personal information controller for the data described here. You can reach us about anything on this page at aetherio.business@gmail.com.

2. What we collect

You can browse jobs, salaries and companies without an account, and we do not ask who you are to do it. When you create an account, we collect:

  • Account details. Your name, email address and profile photo, through our sign-in provider, Clerk. If you sign in with Google, Clerk receives your basic Google profile. Your password, if you set one, is held by Clerk; we never see it.
  • Your profile. What you tell us in onboarding and Settings: target roles, skills, city, preferred setup and job type, level, years of experience, salary range, a headline and bio, and, if you choose to give it, your gender.
  • Resumes. Files you upload (PDF, Word or text), the text we extract from them, and the skills and experience we read from that text.
  • What you make with the AI tools. Tailored resumes, cover letters, gap reports, and mock interviews: the questions, your answers as text, the feedback and the final report.
  • Voice answers. If you answer an interview question out loud, the recording is sent for transcription and then deleted. We keep the text, not the audio.
  • Your activity on the board. Jobs you save, application statuses you track, saved searches, reports you file about a posting, and when you last visited, so we can show what is new.
  • Community posts. Posts, comments, likes, bookmarks and reports you make in the members' community. Posts and comments are shown in the community with your name, photo, headline and city, and the community is not private: treat anything you post there as public.
  • Credits and payments. Your credit balance and history, and for each purchase the package, amount, status and Xendit's reference. Card, bank and e-wallet details go directly to Xendit; we do not receive or store them.
  • Technical data. Sign-in session cookies set by Clerk, a few settings kept in your browser (such as light or dark theme), and records of AI usage (which feature, how many tokens, the cost) that we use to watch spending and stop abuse.

We do not use advertising trackers or third-party analytics, and we do not sell your data.

3. How we use it

  • To run your account and keep you signed in.
  • To score job postings against your profile and resume, and to order your board by that match.
  • To produce the documents and interview practice you ask for, and to keep them so you can come back to them.
  • To send the job alert emails you switch on for a saved search. They are optional, and you can turn them off in Settings at any time.
  • To sell and track credits, and to confirm payments with Xendit.
  • To moderate the community and job listings, prevent abuse and fraud, and keep the service secure.
  • To answer you when you contact us.

Our basis for this under the Data Privacy Act is that the processing is needed to provide the service you signed up for, your consent where we ask for it (for example, email alerts and the optional profile fields), and our legitimate interest in keeping the service safe and working.

4. AI processing

When you use a tailored resume, cover letter, gap report, resume reading or mock interview, the relevant text (your resume and profile, the job posting, your answers) is sent to AI models through OpenRouter, which passes it to a model provider (for example DeepSeek, or Google for transcribing voice answers). We ask OpenRouter to route our requests only to providers that state they do not keep prompts or use them for training.

AI output can be wrong. It is a draft for you to check, not advice, and nothing is sent to an employer unless you send it yourself. Match scores are worked out by our own code from your profile, not by an AI model.

5. Who processes your data

We share personal data only with the services that run the product for us, and only what each needs:

  • Clerk: sign-in, accounts and session cookies.
  • Convex: our database, file storage (resumes, photos, short-lived voice recordings) and backend.
  • Vercel: hosts the website.
  • OpenRouter and the model providers it routes to: AI features, as described above.
  • Xendit: payments for credits.
  • Resend: sends job alert emails, if you turn them on.

These providers are based outside the Philippines, mostly in the United States, so your data is processed there. We choose providers that protect it under contract and apply security measures comparable to those the Data Privacy Act requires.

We may also disclose data if the law requires it, for example in answer to a valid order from a court or regulator.

Employers do not see your profile or resume through us. When you apply, you apply on the original posting's site, under that site's own privacy terms.

6. How long we keep it

  • Your account, profile, resumes and generated documents are kept until you delete them or delete your account.
  • Voice recordings are deleted as soon as they have been transcribed.
  • You can delete any resume on its own from your Resumes page.
  • Payment records may be kept for as long as tax and accounting rules require.
  • When an account that received the free welcome credits is deleted, we keep a one-way fingerprint (a hash) of its email address, so the same inbox is not given welcome credits twice. The address itself cannot be recovered from it.
  • Deleted data can remain in backups for a limited time until those backups expire.

7. Deleting your account

You can delete your account yourself under Settings โ†’ Delete account. This removes your sign-in account, profile, resumes and their files, generated documents, interviews, saved jobs, application tracking, saved searches and credit balance. Unused credits are lost when the account is deleted.

Community posts and comments are not removed, because other members' replies depend on them. They are shown as written by "Deleted member" and no longer linked to you. If you want a particular post removed rather than anonymised, delete it before you delete your account, or write to us.

8. Your rights

Under the Data Privacy Act of 2012 (Republic Act No. 10173) you have the right to:

  • Be informed about how your personal data is processed, which is what this page is for.
  • Access the personal data we hold about you.
  • Correct data that is wrong or incomplete. Most of it you can edit yourself in your profile and Settings.
  • Erasure or blocking of your data, including by deleting your account as described above.
  • Object to processing, and withdraw consent you have given, for example by turning off email alerts.
  • Data portability: a copy of your data in a common electronic format. Your generated resumes can already be downloaded; for everything else, ask us.
  • Damages if you are harmed by inaccurate, incomplete or unlawfully obtained data.
  • Complain to the National Privacy Commission (privacy.gov.ph) if you believe we have mishandled your data.

To use any of these rights, email aetherio.business@gmail.com from the address on your account. We will reply within 30 days, and may ask you to confirm it is you before we share or change anything.

9. Security

Data travels over encrypted connections, sign-in is handled by Clerk, and every request to our backend checks who is asking and whether the data is theirs. No system is perfectly secure. If a breach affects your personal data, we will tell you and the National Privacy Commission as the law requires.

10. Age

Accounts are for people aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone younger; if you think we have, tell us and we will delete it.

11. Changes to this policy

If we change what we collect or who processes it, we will update this page and its effective date, and tell signed-in members about significant changes before they apply.
