CERTIFIED PUBLIC ACCOUNTANT

F&C Group of Companies is seeking a Certified Public Accountant to join our Corporate Finance Team in Iloilo City, Iloilo. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in maintaining the financial integrity and compliance of our organization. As a CPA, you will be responsible for managing our financial accounting and reporting functions, ensuring accurate and timely financial statements, and supporting strategic decision-making through comprehensive financial analysis. This position is essential to our operations and offers the opportunity to make a significant impact on the financial health of F&C Group. What you'll be doing

• Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements in accordance with applicable accounting standards and regulatory requirements
• Record and reconcile financial transactions, ensuring all entries are properly documented and authorised
• Conduct monthly, quarterly and annual account reconciliations to identify and resolve discrepancies
• Develop and implement effective internal controls and accounting procedures to safeguard company assets
• Manage accounts payable and receivable functions, including invoice processing and payment authorisation
• Prepare financial reports and analyses to support management decision-making and strategic planning
• Ensure compliance with tax regulations and assist with tax filings and audits
• Liaise with external auditors and regulatory bodies to facilitate audits and inspections
• Monitor and analyse financial performance against budget forecasts and identify variances
• Support the implementation of accounting software systems and maintain financial data integrity

What we're looking for

• Current Certified Public Accountant (CPA)Minimum 3-5 years of experience in financial accounting and reporting within a similar commercial environment
• Strong proficiency in accounting software and systems, with demonstrated experience using enterprise resource planning (ERP) platforms
• Thorough knowledge of accounting principles, standards and best practices, including IFRS or local generally accepted accounting principles
• Excellent attention to detail with the ability to identify and resolve complex accounting issues
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret financial data and provide insights
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and financial analysis tools
• Solid understanding of tax compliance and reporting requirements in the Philippines
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain financial information to non-financial stakeholders
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment
