Full job description

The_ _DevOps Engineer_ _is responsible for supporting and improving the Company’s software development and IT operations by managing deployment processes, infrastructure, automation, system reliability, and monitoring. The role works closely with developers and IT teams to ensure applications and systems are deployed efficiently, securely, and reliably.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage and maintain CI/CD pipelines for application development and deployment.
• Automate deployment, testing, and infrastructure processes.
• Monitor system performance, availability, and application health.
• Manage cloud infrastructure, servers, databases, and related IT resources.
• Implement and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) where applicable.
• Troubleshoot deployment, server, network, and application-related issues.
• Support containerized applications using tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Implement and maintain security controls in development and deployment processes.
• Manage source code repositories and version control using Git.
• Perform system updates, backups, and maintenance activities.
• Maintain technical documentation, deployment procedures, and system configurations.
• Coordinate with developers, IT support, and other teams to resolve technical issues.
• Participate in incident response and assist in identifying root causes of system issues.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by Management.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience in DevOps, Systems Administration, Cloud Engineering, or related IT roles is preferred.
• Knowledge of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or GitHub Actions.
• Familiarity with Linux/Windows server administration.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and Infrastructure as Code tools is an advantage.
• Proficient in Git and version control systems.
• Basic knowledge of networking, databases, cybersecurity, and system monitoring.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and collaboration skills.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
