Are you passionate about creating polished digital experiences that combine strong frontend development with good visual judgement? At Nova, we develop corporate websites, annual report microsites and other digital experiences for leading ASEAN brands. We are looking for talented independent contractor frontend developers based in the Philippines to collaborate with us remotely on corporate and digital projects where both technical execution and creative sensitivity matter. What You’ll Do

• Develop and maintain corporate websites, microsites and web applications.
• Translate UI/UX designs and creative concepts into responsive, visually polished and functional websites.
• Work closely with designers to enhance layouts, interactions, animations and the overall digital experience while maintaining the intended design direction.
• Apply strong visual judgement in typography, spacing, composition, imagery and responsive presentation.
• Customise and maintain WordPress websites, themes, plugins, custom layouts and Elementor.
• Develop frontend solutions using HTML, CSS and JavaScript, with React or Vue.js where required.
• Implement suitable interactions such as hover effects, transitions, animations and scrolling experiences.
• Apply technical SEO, accessibility and performance best practices.
• Test, troubleshoot and optimise websites across browsers, devices and screen sizes.
• Maintain and update existing websites based on project and client requirements.

What We’re Looking For

Independent contractors with strong frontend fundamentals, a good eye for design and eagerness to learn are encouraged to apply.

• Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS and JavaScript is essential.
• Experience with WordPress, Elementor, themes and plugins is required.
• Working knowledge of modern frontend frameworks such as React or Vue.js is an advantage.
• Good understanding of responsive design, browser compatibility and website performance.
• Strong visual judgement with attention to typography, spacing, composition and interaction details.
• Ability to interpret UI/UX designs accurately while suggesting practical creative improvements where appropriate.
• Familiarity with technical SEO and web accessibility best practices.
• Curiosity to stay updated with frontend, web design and emerging AI-assisted development tools.
• Ability to work independently while remaining collaborative with designers, developers and project managers.
