Project and Construction Manager

Abenson Ventures, Inc. is seeking an experienced Project and Construction Manager to join our civil and structural engineering team. This is a full-time position based in Quezon City, Metro Manila. In this strategic role, you will oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of construction projects from inception to completion. You will be responsible for managing timelines, budgets, resources, and quality standards whilst ensuring compliance with safety regulations and contractual obligations. This position is integral to our company's success and directly impacts project profitability and client satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and oversee all aspects of construction projects, including scheduling, budgeting and resource allocation
• Monitor project progress against established timelines and budgets, implementing corrective actions as necessary
• Manage subcontractors, suppliers and site teams to ensure effective execution of work in accordance with specifications and standards
• Conduct regular site inspections and quality audits to ensure compliance with engineering standards, safety regulations and contractual

requirements

• Prepare and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including progress reports, daily logs and photographic records
• Liaise with clients, consultants and stakeholders to address concerns, provide updates and manage expectations throughout the project lifecycle
• Identify and mitigate project risks, developing contingency plans to minimise delays and cost overruns
• Ensure strict adherence to health, safety and environmental protocols on all project sites
• Manage project finances, including cost tracking, invoicing and contract administration
• Lead and mentor site teams, promoting a culture of safety, professionalism and continuous improvement

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or a related engineering discipline
• Minimum 5 years of professional experience as a Construction Manager or Project Manager on civil/structural engineering projects
• Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, building codes, safety standards and project management best practices
• Proven proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite
• Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Strong leadership and team management capabilities with experience supervising diverse construction teams
• Exceptional communication skills in both written and verbal formats, with fluency in English required
• Thorough understanding of contract administration and procurement processes
• Ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering drawings and specifications
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
• Valid Professional Engineer (PE) licence or relevant certification is preferred
• Experience with large-scale commercial or infrastructure projects is advantageous
