General Accountant

Playmate is currently looking for a General Accountant to continue to drive the financial growth of Philippine online gaming marketplace. The accountant will assist to provide support to the finance department by managing daily accounting tasks

• Assist in the preparation of financial statements and bank reconciliations. Maintain accurate financial records and update accounting databases. Process accounts payable, accounts receivable, invoices, and payment vouchers. Assist with tax filings, statutory reports, and audit documentation. Review expenses, payroll records, and other financial transactions. Support accounting projects and perform administrative tasks as assigned.

About you

Bachelor's degree in accountancy or a related field. At least 5–8 years of experience in financial accounting, bookkeeping, and auditing. Experience in an audit, tax, or management advisory firm is preferred. Strong knowledge of Philippine tax laws, government compliance, and statutory reporting. Experience handling BIR tax audits is an advantage. Knowledge of accounting standards, internal controls, and financial reporting. Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; Oracle experience is a plus. Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills. Able to work independently, under pressure, and with a high level of integrity and professionalism.
