Gig is currently building a talent pool of experienced Australian Bookkeepers for multiple opportunities with our Australian client partners.

These opportunities may vary in terms of industry, responsibilities, working hours, and engagement type, with both part-time and full-time opportunities available.

Important: Previous hands-on bookkeeping or accounting experience supporting Australian businesses or Australian accounting firms is required. Candidates with only local Philippine bookkeeping experience and no Australian experience will not be considered.

What You’ll Bring

• Hands-on experience in Australian bookkeeping/accounting
• Experience supporting Australian businesses or working within an Australian accounting/bookkeeping practice
• Strong working knowledge of Xero
• Experience with bank reconciliations, AP, AR, and financial records
• Familiarity with Australian accounting requirements such as BAS/IAS, GST, and payroll, depending on the opportunity
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Good English communication skills
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment
• Strong organisational and time-management skills
