Head Nurse - NICU Location: The Medical City Clark (Angeles, Pampanga)

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Head Nurse to lead our Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). In this role, you will oversee clinical operations, manage nursing staff, and ensure the highest standards of care for our neonatal patients.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or equivalent degree.
• A Master's degree with a minimum of 12 earned units is required.
• Licensure & Certifications:
• Valid Philippine Registered Nurse (PRN) license issued by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC).
• Active membership in good standing with an accredited professional clinical nursing organization and a relevant specialty nursing organization.
• Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Valid Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
• Work Experience: Minimum of 2 years of autonomous clinical practice experience capable of working unsupervised, with at least 2 years of specific clinical experience handling and managing patients within a designated Nursing Unit.
• Managerial Experience: 6 to 12 months of experience providing general supervision and mentorship to junior nursing colleagues.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise daily clinical operations and patient care workflows within the NICU.
• Mentor, guide, and evaluate junior nursing staff to maintain high-quality care standards.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, safety protocols, and regulatory standards.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary medical teams to deliver comprehensive, compassionate neonatal care.
