Dexterton Corporation is looking for an experienced Odoo ERP Project Manager to lead the next stage of our digital and operational transformation.

You will work with Finance, Accounting, Purchasing, Inventory, Warehouse, Sales, CRM, HR, Operations, senior management, vendors, consultants, developers, and implementation partners.

YOUR CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

Lead ERP projects from planning to adoption

• Manage end-to-end Odoo implementations, rollouts, upgrades, integrations, and enhancements.
• Define scope, objectives, milestones, budgets, resources, timelines, and success measures.
• Build project plans, roadmaps, and deployment

• Manage risks, issues, dependencies, decisions, assumptions, and change requests.
• Coordinate internal teams, vendors, consultants, developers, and implementation partners.
• Hold project participants accountable for deliverables, timelines, and quality.
• Report progress and risks clearly to management.
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope and budget, and to the required standard.
• Measure success by business value—not simply by go-live.

Translate business needs into scalable solutions

• Gather requirements from department heads and end-users.
• Map current processes and identify inefficiencies, control gaps, duplication, and manual workarounds.
• Design future-state workflows that improve standardization, visibility, accountability, and ease of use.
• Prepare functional specifications, user stories, process flows, configuration requirements, and acceptance criteria.
• Challenge unnecessary customization and promote practical, maintainable Odoo solutions.
• Identify automation opportunities and improve data flow between functions.
• Explain trade-offs involving cost, speed, customization, risk, and long-term maintainability.
• Own Odoo’s evolution across the business
• Oversee the effective use and continuous improvement of Odoo across:
• Finance and Accounting
• Purchasing and Supplier Management
• Inventory and Warehouse Operations
• Sales and CRM
• Logistics and Delivery Coordination
• Human Resources
• Reporting and Management Dashboards
• Other business functions as Dexterton grows

You do not need to develop every module yourself. However, you must understand how modules interact and how changes in one area affect other departments, reports, controls, and downstream processes.

Your goal is to ensure that Odoo operates as one integrated business platform—not as a collection of disconnected departmental tools.

Manage testing, deployment, training, and adoption

• Plan and manage user acceptance testing, including scenarios, test data, scripts, defects, and sign-off.
• Coordinate data migration, cleansing, validation, reconciliation, cutover, go-live, and post-launch support.
• Prepare training plans for different user groups and departments.
• Coordinate end-user training and confirm readiness before deployment.
• Help users understand both how to use the system and why processes are changing.
• Maintain user guides, process documentation, procedures, training materials, and knowledge resources.
• Monitor adoption and address recurring issues, workarounds, process deviations, and resistance to change.
• Establish a structured process for support tickets, enhancement requests, prioritization, approvals, and improvements.

Manage partners, integrations, data, and system quality

• Serve as the primary contact for Odoo partners, developers, consultants, vendors, and technical providers.
• Review proposed solutions, technical approaches, estimates, timelines, deliverables, and implementation plans.
• Coordinate integrations with other business systems and Microsoft 365 tools.
• Ensure system changes are documented, tested, approved, and deployed properly.
• Protect data integrity, access controls, reporting accuracy, system performance, and process consistency.
• Support master data standards, approval controls, data governance, and ERP documentation.
• Investigate recurring issues and ensure root causes are addressed.
• Maintain a prioritized ERP improvement backlog.
• Evaluate enhancements based on business value, cost, risk, urgency, and maintainability.

Improve business performance through ERP

• Improve workflows across purchasing, inventory, warehouse, sales, finance, logistics, and operations.
• Use ERP data to strengthen reporting, planning, forecasting, accountability, and decision-making.
• Establish standards for master data, approvals, documentation, process ownership, and system usage.
• Reduce manual work and improve operational controls.
• Promote continuous improvement and consistent use of Odoo best practices.
• Ensure ERP capabilities evolve with Dexterton’s growth, operating model, and strategic priorities.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND CAPABILITIES

You should have

• A bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in ERP project management, business systems, digital transformation, or a similar role.
• Proven experience implementing, upgrading, enhancing, or supporting Odoo ERP.
• Strong working knowledge of several Odoo modules, particularly:

• Experience leading cross-functional, multi-department ERP projects.
• Experience with requirements gathering, process mapping, functional specifications, and UAT.
• Experience coordinating developers, consultants, vendors, implementation partners, and internal stakeholders.
• Practical knowledge of integrations, data migration, reporting, access management, system controls, and ERP governance.
• Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, Hybrid, or other structured project management methods.
• Strong project planning, risk management, documentation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to explain complex systems and process changes clearly to non-technical users.
• Sound judgment when balancing business needs, system capability, cost, timeline, risk, and maintainability.
• Strong problem-solving, decision-making, organizational, and leadership skills.

Experience with Microsoft 365, particularly SharePoint, Teams, Power BI, and Power Automate, is highly preferred.

PMP, PRINCE2, Agile, Scrum, Odoo, Microsoft, or other relevant certifications are an advantage, but they do not replace practical ERP experience.

Experience supporting purchasing, inventory, warehouse, logistics, sales, finance, or branch operations through an ERP system is particularly relevant.

Experience managing ERP environments across multiple branches, warehouses, showrooms, distribution points, or operating locations is also an advantage.
