Qualifications That Set You Apart

• Graduate of Accounting, Finance, Banking, or a related commerce degree
• At least 3 years of hands-on Australian accounting experience, with strong knowledge of Australian accounting and taxation

requirements

Proven experience preparing working papers, financial statements, tax returns, BAS, IAS, and GSTStrong background in Australian bookkeeping, account reconciliations, and general accounting processes

• Proficiency in QuickBooks and MYOB; experience with Xero is highly desirable
• Experience using cloud-based and server-based accounting applications
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
• Strong analytical, organizational, and attention-to-detail skills
• Excellent English communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively and manage priorities independently
• High level of accountability, reliability, and ownership of assigned work
• CPA qualification is an advantage

Responsibilities

• Complete tax return preparation across a range of business structures and industries
• Prepare Business Activity Statements (BAS) and Instalment Activity Statements (IAS)Produce accurate financial statements for assigned clients and entities
• Compile detailed supporting workpapers for accounting, tax, and compliance
