What You Will Be Doing: The Finance Officer is responsible for end-to-end bookkeeping functions, including accounts payable, payroll, reconciliations, statutory compliance, and reporting. The successful candidate will work closely with the Financial Controller and the Management Team to maintain strong financial controls, provide timely financial information, and support business decision-making. Manage end-to-end financial operations, including bookkeeping, accounts payable, general ledger maintenance, reconciliations, and cash flow administration. Process payroll and employee-related payments, ensuring accuracy and compliance with Australian employment, taxation, superannuation, and payroll regulations. Prepare Australian statutory reporting and compliance obligations, including BAS, PAYG, Superannuation, Payroll Tax, audit support, and regulatory reporting requirements. Support effective financial management through process improvement initiatives, and the optimisation of finance systems and controls. What You Bring: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related fields. Minimum 6+ years' experience in Australian bookkeeping or similar finance role. Strong understanding of Australian accounting principles and compliance requirements (a must)

Demonstrated experience preparing BAS, PAYG, Superannuation, and Payroll Tax obligations. End-to-end Australian payroll processing experience. Advanced bookkeeping and reconciliation skills. Experience preparing monthly management reports. Advance proficiency working with accounting software such as Zoho Books, Xero, or similar ERP systems. Experience supporting Australian external audits and year-end financial reporting. Experience in a construction, manufacturing, engineering, or project-based environment is desirable but not required

Advanced Microsoft Excel skills. Financial accuracy and attention to detail. Strong organisational, analytical, and problem-solving skills skills. Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities. Work Setup &
