• Position: Online Japanese Tutor
• Location: Remote / Work from Home
• Compensation: PHP400 per class

As we continue to grow, we're looking for a Japanese Teacher who wants to be part of our journey and help students discover and develop their Japanese language skills.

This is more than just a tutoring job—it’s an opportunity to inspire young learners, build their confidence in using Japanese, and help them develop practical communication skills through engaging and personalized lessons.

Responsibilities

• Conduct one-on-one online Japanese language lessons for students of different ages and skill levels.
• Teach Japanese language skills, including speaking, listening, reading, writing, vocabulary, grammar, and pronunciation.
• Explain Japanese concepts clearly and adapt lessons to each student's learning level, goals, and pace.
• Help students develop practical communication and conversational skills.
• Teach Hiragana, Katakana, and basic Kanji as appropriate to the student's level.
• Provide engaging activities and exercises to make language learning interactive and enjoyable.
• Introduce students to Japanese culture, customs, and everyday expressions when appropriate.
• Encourage students to build confidence and become more comfortable using the Japanese language.
• Maintain a professional, supportive, and engaging learning environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Japanese Language, Education, Linguistics, or a related field is preferred.
• Strong proficiency in Japanese.
• Excellent spoken and written Japanese and English communication skills.
• Previous Japanese teaching or tutoring experience is preferred.
• Experience teaching children and/or teenagers is an advantage.
• Knowledge of Hiragana, Katakana, and Kanji.
• Knowledge of Japanese grammar and pronunciation.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Reliable internet connection and access to a computer or laptop suitable for online teaching.
• Comfortable using online platforms such as Google Meet, Zoom, or similar tools.
• Patient, professional, dependable, and passionate about helping students learn a new language.
