Inventory Analyst

I. JOB MISSION/SUMMARYThe position is responsible for the demand and inventory management requirements including procurement activities of Company ensuring that the optimum levels of inventories is maintained to deliver high customer service at the least cost.II. DUTIES &

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Coordinate with Sales for the timely preparation of forecast and understanding volume drivers to better manage demand
• Establish and regular review of the ABC classification
• Establish inventory policies of assigned category products to ensure that optimum inventory levels are maintained for cost effectiveness

Review sales performance vs. forecast on a monthly basis, compute for forecast accuracy and take necessary actions to address issues of products that are not performing in accordance with plans

• Prepare replenishment plans based on forecast and available inventory on a timely and accurate basis
• Timely preparation of the Purchase Requisition based on the

Purchasing of trading items and materials for the timely deliveries of orders, expediting orders for critical inventories or inventories below minimum and deferring orders of products that are below volume performance. Coordinate the timely release of imported goods from Customs; prepare landed cost computations

Close monitoring of inventories in all stock locations and to take actions where necessary

Coordinate with Logistics timely delivery of orders to customers as well as deliveries of stocks to provincial depots.III. REQUIREMENTS / QUALIFICATIONS:Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree, Industrial Engineering, Mathematics or any related course

At least 2 years in supply chain management preferably with experience in demand and replenishment planning and exposure to logistics operations, purchasing and analytical computation. Proficient in MS Excel), MS Word and MS PowerPoint. Well-developed analytical skills, articulate, innovative and confident. Flexible, able to work on own initiative, can work under pressure and tight deadlines, prioritize tasks accordingly. Knowledge or experience in dealing with external parties such as suppliers, brokers and forwarders, logistics and production shared services as well as corporate purchasing

Has a strong background in Inventory, Forecasting & Analytical Computation.
