Tutor

Bata ng Calabnugan Inc. is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Tutor to join our team. The primary responsibility of this position is to provide academic support to the children through one-on-one or small-group tutoring sessions, helping them improve their learning, complete school assignments, prepare for exams, and build confidence in their studies.

The Tutor will work closely with the children to identify their educational needs and create a positive, encouraging learning environment that promotes both academic achievement and personal growth.

d or academic support is not required, the Tutor will assist with general office duties and light household tasks to help ensure the smooth day-to-day operation of the Family Home. These duties may include organizing educational materials, filing documents, basic administrative work, helping maintain common areas, and supporting other staff as needed.

This role is essential in supporting the children's education while also contributing to the overall care and operation of the Home. We are looking for a flexible, patient, and dependable individual who understands the sensitive nature of this work and is committed to promoting the well-being, development, and success of the children.

Requirements

-Bachelor's degree in Education or any Bachelor's degree

-Previous tutoring or teaching experience is an advantage.

-Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

-Patient, compassionate, and dependable.

-Ability to work with children and learning abilities.

-Basic computer skills (MS Office and online learning tools).

-Willing to assist with general office and light household duties when needed.

-Strong work ethic, reliability, and flexibility to work in a non-profit environment focused on the well-being of vulnerable children.

-Ability to work sensitively and compassionately with children who have experienced difficult pasts.
