Microsoft 365 / Cloud Engineer

De Castro Consulting is seeking a skilled and motivated Microsoft 365 / Cloud Engineer to join our growing team. This is a full-time position based in Makati City, Metro Manila, where you will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and managing cloud infrastructure and Microsoft 365 solutions for our clients. As a Cloud Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the seamless operation of our cloud environments whilst helping organisations transition to and optimise their Microsoft 365 deployments. This position is strategic to our business, as cloud adoption and management have become essential to our clients' digital transformation initiatives. Key responsibilities

• Design, deploy and manage Microsoft 365 solutions including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, One
• Drive and related services
• Administer and maintain cloud infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance, security and availability across all systems
• Manage user identities and access controls using Azure Active Directory and implement security best practices
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for cloud-based applications and infrastructure issues
• Plan and execute cloud migration projects, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations
• Monitor cloud environments and implement backup and disaster recovery solutions
• Document cloud architectures, configurations and procedures to maintain comprehensive knowledge bases
• Collaborate with clients and internal teams to understand requirements and deliver tailored cloud solutions
• Stay current with Microsoft cloud technologies and industry best practices
• Implement and manage security policies, compliance requirements and governance frameworks

What we're looking for

Microsoft certifications such as Azure Administrator, Azure Solutions Architect, Microsoft 365 Administrator or equivalent qualifications3+ years of professional experience in cloud administration, Microsoft 365 management or related infrastructure roles

Strong technical knowledge of Microsoft 365 services including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams and One

Drive

• Hands-on experience with Azure services and Azure Active Directory administration
• Proficiency in PowerShell scripting and automation
• Understanding of cloud security principles, identity management and compliance standards
• Experience with network administration and troubleshooting
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Strong communication abilities with the capacity to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work effectively in a collaborative team environment
• Preferred: Experience with hybrid cloud environments, Office 365 migration projects or other cloud platforms
