HR Recruitment Unit Head

We are seeking an experienced and strategic HR Recruitment Unit Head to join AMA Computer College Inc. in Quezon City, Metro Manila. This is a full-time position that plays a pivotal role in shaping the talent acquisition strategy and leading the recruitment function across the organization. As the head of our recruitment unit, you will be responsible for building and managing a high-performing team, developing comprehensive recruitment strategies, and ensuring that AMA Computer College Inc. attracts and retains top talent to support our continued growth and success. Key Responsibilities

Lead, manage and develop the recruitment unit team, providing mentorship, coaching and performance management to ensure team effectiveness and professional growth

• Develop and implement strategic recruitment plans aligned with organizational objectives and workforce planning requirements
• Oversee the full recruitment lifecycle, including job analysis, sourcing, screening, interviewing, selection and onboarding processes
• Build and maintain relationships with hiring managers across departments to understand talent needs and requirements
• Establish recruitment policies, procedures and best practices to ensure consistency, efficiency and compliance with labor regulations
• Manage recruitment budgets and optimize recruitment channels to achieve cost-effective hiring solutions
• Monitor and analyze recruitment metrics and key performance indicators to evaluate effectiveness and identify improvement opportunities

Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process, reflecting the values and culture of AMA Computer College Inc. Collaborate with HR partners on employee retention strategies, onboarding programs and talent development initiatives

Stay informed of industry trends, employment laws and recruitment best practices to keep the organization competitive

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field; professional HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) is preferred
• Minimum 5-7 years of progressive experience in recruitment and talent acquisition, with at least 2-3 years in a supervisory or leadership capacity
• Proven track record of successfully building and leading high-performing recruitment teams
• Strong knowledge of recruitment best practices, employment laws and regulatory requirements in the Philippines
• Excellent recruitment and screening capabilities with proficiency in applicant tracking systems (ATS) and recruitment technologies
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage with diverse stakeholders at all organizational levels
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret recruitment data and metrics
• Strategic mindset with the ability to align recruitment initiatives with broader business objectives
• Experience in the education sector, particularly higher education or vocational training institutions, is advantageous
