Social Media Manager / Graphic Designer

Jessicat's Medi-Spa is seeking a talented and creative Social Media Manager / Graphic Designer to join our team on a contract basis. As Social Media Manager / Graphic Designer, you will be at the forefront of our digital marketing strategy, responsible for creating compelling visual content and managing our social media presence to build brand awareness and engage with our growing community of wellness and beauty enthusiasts. This position plays a vital role in positioning Jessicat's Medi-Spa as a leading provider of premium aesthetic and wellness services in the region.

What you'll be doing

• Develop and implement comprehensive social media strategies across all platforms including Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and emerging channels
• Create visually appealing and on-brand graphic designs for social media posts, advertisements, promotional materials and marketing collateral
• Produce high-quality content including images, videos, infographics and animations that align with brand guidelines and campaign objectives
• Manage daily social media accounts, including scheduling posts, responding to comments and messages, and engaging with followers
• Monitor social media analytics and performance metrics to optimise content strategy and report on campaign effectiveness
• Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure consistent messaging and brand voice across all digital channels
• Conduct competitor research and industry trend analysis to inform content creation and strategy
• Design eye-catching promotional materials, banners, posters and digital advertisements for both online and offline use
• Manage social media advertising campaigns and optimise ad spend for maximum reach and engagement
• Stay current with social media best practices, platform updates and emerging digital marketing trends

What we're looking for

• Proven experience working as a Social Media Manager or in a similar digital marketing role, preferably within the beauty, wellness, hospitality or service industry
• Advanced proficiency in graphic design software including Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), Canva or equivalent tools
• Strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in social media content creation and graphic design work
• Excellent understanding of various social media platforms, algorithms, best practices and audience engagement strategies
• Demonstrated experience managing social media accounts with measurable growth and engagement metrics
• Proficiency in using social media management tools and analytics platforms such as Meta Business Suite, Hootsuite or Buffer
• Ability to create compelling, on-brand visual content that resonates with target audiences
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
• Creative thinking with the ability to generate original ideas and innovative content concepts
• Detail-oriented with excellent organisational and time management skills
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines whilst maintaining high-quality standards
• Knowledge of current trends in aesthetic, wellness, and beauty services is preferred
