Key Responsibilities: Leadership - Mentor and guide a small team of accountants promoting teamwork and professional growth and cohesive teamwork. Accounting: Deliver comprehensive accounting solutions to clients encompassing general ledger, bank reconciliations, accounts payable and receivable and management reporting. Process Improvement: Provide process improvement recommendations especially on system automation to improve efficiency and internal controls. Collaboration: Collaborate closely with internal and external stakeholders to foster good professional working relationship, mitigate risks and address dependencies in all our deliverables. Query Resolution: Address email and chat inquiries promptly, provide recommendations and handle proper escalation of issues when necessary. Client Meetings: Take the lead in client weekly meetings to update clients on financial statements, explain the figures understandable to start-up founders and raise any help needed from the team.
