Business Analyst

We are seeking a detail-oriented Business Analyst with a strong understanding of data handling and analytics and basic CRM exposure. This role is predominantly focused on data-related tasks including data collection, analysis, and modeling using Excel and SQL. The ideal candidate will also assist with CRM setup and maintenance, ensuring data integrity and supporting data-driven decision-making processes.

Key Responsibilities

Data Analysis and Reporting

• Perform data analysis using Zoho Analytics and SQL to support business decisions.
• Develop and maintain data models and databases.
• Generate reports and dashboards to visualize data insights.
• Identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities within the data.

Data Collection and Management

• Assist in the setup and maintenance of CRM systems.
• Ensure accurate data entry and data integrity within the CRM.
• Develop and implement data collection processes.
• Conduct data cleaning and validation to ensure data quality.

Programming and Data Modeling

• Write and optimize SQL queries for data extraction and analysis.
• Develop basic scripts or programs to automate data processing tasks.
• Assist in the development of data models and schemas.

CRM Support

• Provide support for CRM-related issues and queries.
• Assist in configuring and customizing CRM systems to meet business needs.
• Train staff on CRM usage and best data practices.
• Work with CRM vendors or IT teams to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.

Collaboration and Communication

• Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand data needs.
• Present data findings and insights to stakeholders.
• Collaborate with IT and other departments to improve data workflows.
• Document processes and create user guides for data-related tasks.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Data Analyst or similar role.
• Strong proficiency in Excel and SQL.
• Basic programming skills (e.g., Python, R) are a plus.
• Solid experience with Zoho.
• Familiarity with Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar is a great plus.
• Experience with CRM systems and data collection processes.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
• Knowledge of data warehousing concepts.
• Understanding of data privacy regulations and best practices.
