Full job description

Overview

We are seeking a dedicated English as a Second Language (ESL) Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for teaching English to non-native speakers (Taiwanese) at any age (kids to young adults) in developing their language skills and achieve academic success.

Duties

• \* Implement effective teaching strategies to facilitate language acquisition
• \* Utilize learning technology to enhance classroom activities and student engagement
• \* Monitor student progress and provide feedback to support their language learning journey by the end of each class
• \* Teach one-on-one and group classes for 50 minutes
• \* Comply with the company's policy

Qualifications

• \* 3 years of experience as English as a Second Language (ESL) teacher (required)
• \* Patient and flexible enough to deal with young learners and adults
• \* Team player
• \* Bachelor's Degree in Education if possible
• \* Fluent in English language (required)
• \* Certification in Teaching English as a Second Language (TESOL) or related field is a plus but not required
• \* Has a backup device and internet connection for emergency that can cover all the classes assigned (required)
• *Knows how to use Google Meet well (required)
• Note: _necessary certifications must be uploaded upon application
• Job Type: Part-time (paid only for conducted classes)
• Mandatory Working Hours: Sundays (9AM-12PM and 7PM-10PM Philippine Standard Time)
• Starting Pay: 130 Philippine Peso
