Software Engineer

s: Determines specifications and operational feasibility by defining problem, analyzing requirements, and developing and proposing solutions. Develops documentation, flowcharts and layouts to identify requirements and solutions. Writes well-designed and testable codes. Reviews and assesses code quality by conducting system testing and integration when needed. Produces specifications and determines operational feasibility. Integrates software components into a fully functional software system. Develops software verification plans and quality assurance procedures. Documents and maintains software functionality. Conducts system demo to end-users, deploy programs, and monitor and evaluate user feedback to ensure specifications are met. Troubleshoots, debugs and upgrades or modifies existing systems to correct errors, allows it to adapt to new hardware or to improve its performance. Complies with project plans and industry standards. Ensures software is updated with latest features. Keeps abreast of new technologies and best practices related to technology. Performs other duties that may be assigned from time to time

Job requirements: Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science or related field of study

At least 3-year related work experience including web applications development using at least one popular web framework (JSF, Wicket, GWT, Spring MVC), test-driven development and designing interactive applications

• Proven ability to develop software in multiple programming languages
• Strong understanding of computer network infrastructure
• Familiar with Agile development methodologies
• Excellent knowledge of relational databases, SQL, Oracle etc. Excellent communication skills and with ability to work collaboratively
• Resourceful and with debugging aptitude
