Automation Tester - START ASAP - Selenium & Appium

Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Automation Tester role based in Taguig, with an immediate start date. The Automation Tester will design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium and Appium for web and mobile applications. Day-to-day responsibilities include analyzing requirements, preparing and executing test cases, performing API and regression testing, and documenting test results and defects. The role also involves collaborating closely with developers, business analysts, and other QA team members to ensure high-quality releases, participating in test planning and reviews, and suggesting improvements to testing frameworks and processes.

Qualifications

• Strong Proficiency in Selenium and Appium.
• Playwright is a Plus.
• Must be willing to work full-time onsite in BGC, Taguig for a fix dayshift schedule. (Non-Negotiable)
• Quality Assurance experience, including understanding of QA methodologies and best practices.
• Hands-on Manual Testing skills, including creation and execution of Test Cases.
• Practical experience with API Testing, including use of tools and methods for validation of services.
• Strong Automation skills, preferably with Selenium and Appium for web and mobile testing.
• Experience with test management and defect tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Test

Rail or similar).

• Solid understanding of SDLC, agile development practices, and regression testing strategies.
• Ability to analyze requirements, identify edge cases, and communicate issues clearly in written and verbal form.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience with scripting or programming languages (e.g., Java, Python, or similar) is an advantage.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and integrating automated tests into build processes is a plus.
