• Qualified accountant with a CIMA, ACCA, ACA, or equivalent certification
• Strong understanding of IFRS and UK GAAPEssential experience working in a project-based business
• Strong analytical skills with advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets
• Experience working in fast-paced, dynamic environments
• Proactive, self-motivated, and highly organized approach
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
• Proficiency in Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace applications
• NetSuite experience, preferred but not essential

Desirable

• Experience working with US GAAPExperience implementing ERP systems, particularly NetSuite
• Experience in visual effects, film, television, gaming, animation, or another creative or project-led industry

Responsibilities

Act as the central point of coordination during the close process, performing one-off reviews and analyses to maintain accuracy and consistency across entities and key accounts. Ensure accurate intercompany accounting by maintaining clean records and resolving monthly reconciliation differences across all group entities. Review payroll reports and journals for accuracy while serving as the primary contact for outsourced payroll and HR teams to resolve discrepancies promptly. Oversee intangible asset accounting by assessing additions, disposals, and amortization and confirming that all capitalized costs are justified and properly documented. Manage corporate tax provisions, monitor legislative changes, and coordinate with HMRC and external advisers to ensure accurate financial reporting. Prepare insightful variance analyses and clear monthly performance commentary for leadership, highlighting key drivers, risks, and opportunities across the group. Support the implementation, enhancement, and continuous optimization of NetSuite and other financial tools, ensuring effective configuration and alignment with group reporting requirements. Provide external, tax, and other auditors with accurate

Partner with the Financial Controller and CFO on ad hoc finance projects and group-wide initiatives, contributing analytical insights and hands-on support. Mentor junior finance team members to strengthen capability, collaboration, and coordination across the broader finance function. About the Client
