About the role
COMPANY AND GOVERNMENT-MANDATED BENEFITS
Acts as the point of escalation for employee concerns related to company and government-mandated benefits received through phone, email, and walk-in inquiries. Ensures compliance with applicable rules, regulations, and reporting requirements of SSS, Pag-IBIG, and PhilHealth. Processes and monitors employee benefit applications, including sickness, maternity, and other applicable statutory benefits. Reviews and computes approved sickness and maternity benefit claims in accordance with company policies and government guidelines. Coordinates with employees and concerned departments regarding benefit requirements, approvals, disapprovals, and claim status. Processes monthly statutory benefit payments and ensures timely submission of required documents and remittances. Maintains accurate and updated employee benefits records and documentation. Coordinates with government agencies regarding employee benefit concerns, inquiries, and discrepancies.HMOAdministers employee enrollment, updates, and termination of HMO and Group Life Insurance coverage. Coordinates with insurance and HMO providers regarding employee eligibility, claims, billing, and coverage concerns. Reviews statements of account, billing statements, and supporting documents from HMO and insurance providers. Monitors utilization and prepares reports on HMO and insurance benefits. Assists employees with benefit inquiries and facilitates resolution of concerns with providers. Ensures timely processing of additions, deletions, and changes in employee benefit coverage.TOTAL REWARDS ADMINISTRATIONSupports the administration and implementation of company compensation and benefits programs. Maintains accurate employee compensation and benefits information in HR systems and records. Assists in monitoring employee eligibility for various benefits and company-sponsored programs. Provides benefits information and guidance to employees while ensuring consistent application of company policies. Supports periodic review of benefits programs, policies, and practices to ensure competitiveness, compliance, and cost-effectiveness. Prepares data and reports required for management review of compensation and benefits programs.HR REPORTING & COMPLIANCEPrepares regular reports covering government-mandated benefits, HMO utilization, employee benefits, attrition, and other HR metrics as required. Ensures completeness, accuracy, and timely submission of HR reports and compliance documents. Maintains proper filing and confidentiality of employee benefits and compensation records. Monitors changes in government regulations affecting employee benefits and recommends necessary adjustments to processes and policies. Ensures that HR benefit processes are properly documented and consistently implemented.EMPLOYEE BENEFITS & HR OPERATIONS SUPPORTCoordinates with HR Admin and other departments on employee benefits-related transactions. Facilitates the scheduling and coordination of Annual Physical Examination (APE) for existing employees. Coordinates Pre-Employment Medical Examination (PEME) requirements with accredited HMO/medical providers for new hires. Provides timely and professional assistance to employees regarding benefits and HR-related concerns. Performs other HR duties and special projects related to Total Rewards and Compliance as assigned.QUALIFICATIONS
Education
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, Psychology, Management, or a related field. Professional certification in HR, compensation and benefits, or labor compliance is an advantage. Experience
At least 2–3 years of experience in HR, preferably with exposure to Compensation & Benefits, Payroll, Employee Benefits, HR Operations, or HR Compliance. Experience in administering SSS, Pag-IBIG, PhilHealth, HMO, Group Life Insurance, and other employee benefits is preferred. Experience coordinating with government agencies, insurance providers, and healthcare providers is an advantage. Knowledge and Skills
Knowledge of Philippine labor standards and statutory benefits. Familiarity with SSS, Pag-IBIG, and PhilHealth policies and processes. Knowledge of HMO and Group Life Insurance administration. Strong numerical and analytical skills, particularly in benefits computation and reconciliation. Proficient in Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets and HRIS systems. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling employee records and benefit transactions. Good written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational, coordination, and time-management skills. Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive employee and compensation information. Ability to handle employee concerns professionally and resolve issues in a timely manner. Behavioral Competencies
