London, Zurich, Frankfurt, Manila, Singapore and Atlanta. We are currently looking for Software Engineer to join our team. The role will be reporting to the Development Team Lead. Employment Type: Permanent Full Time

Key Responsibilities

• Perform multiple software development functions, including codingprograms, testing, and providing technical support.
• Translate design specifications into clean, efficient, and maintainableprogram code in accordance with company software engineeringstandards.
• Collaborate with fellow software engineers to deliver assigned tasks,participate in technical discussions and resolve technical issues.
• Advocate for code quality best practices to deliver reliable, performant,and maintainable software solutions.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing software systems.
• Participate in unit testing and provide technical support during systemimplementation and migration activities.
• Assist in preparing detailed project documentation.
• Comply with CHAMP IT Security requirements, ISMS policies, data protectionregulations, and incident reporting procedures. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
• Core Programming & Databases: Strong proficiency in Java, Object Oriented Programming (OOP), and solid SQL querying skills across relationaldatabases such as Oracle or SQL Server.
• Developer Tooling & Environments: Hands-on experience usingdevelopment and build tools such as SVN, Tortoise, Eclipse, Maven, or Ant.
• Desirable Technical Plus: Familiarity with frameworks and technologiesincluding Spring Boot, JPA, REST APIs, XML, Swing, RMI, Hibernate, EJB,Angular, Ionic, IBM MQ, or Kafka.
• Methodologies & Concepts: Understanding of software design patterns,alongside exposure to Scrum and DevOps practices.
• Soft Skills: Excellent analytical thinking, problem-solving capabilities, stronginterpersonal skills, and a good command of the English language

Education and experience

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer

Science, Computer Engineering, or an equivalent field.

• Experience: Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in Java and object-oriented programming with SQL database development.
