About the role
We are looking for an experienced Accountant – Payroll & Compensation to support payroll and compensation-related accounting activities while contributing to broader finance and accounting operations. The ideal candidate will have strong accounting fundamentals, excellent attention to detail, and experience across payroll and compensation, accounts payable, general accounting, and/or audit. Experience supporting US payroll operations will be highly valued, along with exposure to Oracle, SAP Ariba, and automated expense management systems. This role is suited for an accounting professional who can work accurately with sensitive financial information, collaborate effectively with stakeholders, and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Support payroll and compensation accounting activities, ensuring accurate and timely processing and accounting treatment. Perform accounting activities related to payroll, employee compensation, and related financial transactions. Review and validate payroll-related accounting entries, supporting documentation, and reconciliations. Support accounts payable and general accounting activities as required. Perform account reconciliations and investigate discrepancies to ensure financial records are accurate and complete. Assist with journal entries, month-end close activities, and other accounting processes related to payroll and compensation. Work with internal stakeholders to resolve payroll, accounting, and transaction-related issues. Maintain accurate accounting records and supporting documentation. Support internal and external audit requirements by providing relevant

s, documentation, and explanations. Ensure compliance with established accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls. Use accounting applications and financial systems to process, review, and maintain accounting information. Identify opportunities to improve payroll, accounting, and financial processes. Support finance and accounting projects, including planning, coordination, documentation, and implementation activities. Manage priorities, timelines, risks, and stakeholder communication across assigned projects and activities.
What We're Looking For
Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy from a reputable college or university. Minimum 5 years of combined professional experience in one or more of the following areas: Payroll &
Compensation
Accounts Payable
General Accounting
Financial Accounting
Audit
Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial processes. Experience working with accounting software or financial applications. Proficient in Microsoft Excel, including the ability to work with financial data, reports, reconciliations, and analysis. Strong attention to detail and accuracy when handling financial and payroll-related information. Strong verbal and written English communication skills. Ability to work effectively with internal stakeholders and cross-functional teams. Strong organizational and time-management skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Preferred
Qualifications
Certified Public Accountant (CPA). Experience supporting US payroll operations. Experience using Oracle. Experience with SAP Ariba. Experience with automated expense management tools/systems. Experience in a multinational, shared services, or global accounting environment. Exposure to payroll-related reconciliations, reporting, accounting entries, and financial controls. Experience supporting process improvement or finance transformation initiatives.
