Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Technical Print Specialist to join our merchandising team. This role is ideal for someone with hands-on experience in printing on mugs, apparel, and other promotional materials using various techniques and equipment. The ideal candidate combines technical expertise with a creative eye, ensuring high-quality output that meets brand standards and client expectations.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain printing equipment (e.g., sublimation printers, heat presses, screen printers) for mugs and other merchandise
• Diagnose and troubleshoot printer (hardware & software) problems, provide step-by-step guidance, and deliver outstanding customer service.
• Prepare artwork files for print using design software (e.g., Adobe Illustrator, Corel

DRAW, Photoshop)

• Calibrate machines and troubleshoot technical issues to ensure consistent print quality
• Manage inventory of print materials, inks, blanks, and consumables
• Collaborate with design and production teams to meet deadlines and quality standards
• Conduct quality control checks on finished products
• Stay updated on new printing technologies and techniques
• Ensure safety and cleanliness in the production area
• Must be willing to do field work; may be assigned to malls

Qualifications

Proven experience in merchandise printing, especially on mugs and similar substrates

• Familiarity with sublimation, heat transfer, and screen printing processes
• Proficiency in graphic design software for print preparation
• Strong attention to detail and color accuracy
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Technical troubleshooting ability
• Ability to confidently demonstrate and explain the printing workflow to other
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• High School Diploma and vocational training in printing, graphics, or related field

Preferred Skills

• Experience with bulk production and custom orders
• Knowledge of color management and ICC profiles
• Understanding of branding and visual merchandising
• Basic photography skills for product documentation
• Ability to learn and follow through with Customer Relations practices
• Desire to Build Productive Business and Professional Relations
• Highly Motivated to Help Clients and Provide Solutions
• Prioritizing, Time Management & Organizational Skills.
