We are looking for a detail-oriented accounting professional with a solid foundation in general accounting and hands-on experience supporting day-to-day accounting activities. This role is ideal for an accounting professional who is ready to further develop their skills in accounts payable and receivable, journal entries, account reconciliations, accounting records, and month-end activities. The Junior Accountant will work closely with the Senior and Intermediate Accountants to maintain accurate financial records, support reporting requirements, and ensure accounting transactions are properly recorded and documented. You will work with the accounting team and international stakeholders to help maintain accurate records, resolve accounting discrepancies, and support the timely completion of accounting tasks. JOB KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Perform day-to-day accounting activities, including journal entries, data entry, and recording of accounting transactions Assist with Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), invoicing, and other accounting transactions Prepare bank and account reconciliations and assist in investigating discrepancies Review accounting transactions for completeness, accuracy, and proper account classification Assist in preparing supporting

s and reports for monthly financial reporting Support the Senior and Intermediate Accountants with month-end and year-end closing activities Maintain organized and accurate accounting records and supporting documents Assist with the preparation and updating of accounting

s and reports Assist with loan-related and other accounting transactions as needed Support accounting system updates, data migration, and other accounting-related activities Coordinate with internal teams and international stakeholders to clarify transactions and resolve discrepancies Assist with accounting analysis, reporting requirements, and other accounting projects as assigned Perform other accounting-related duties as required JOB QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field At least 1–2 years of relevant accounting experience Experience in general accounting, AP, AR, reconciliations, or similar accounting functions Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial processes Experience with QuickBooks Online (QBO) is preferred Proficient in Microsoft Excel and comfortable working with spreadsheets and accounting data Experience with Great Plains (MS Dynamics GP) or Case
Ware is an advantage Experience working with international or North American clients is an advantage Strong attention to detail and ability to identify errors or discrepancies Good analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills Good written and verbal communication skills Willingness to learn new accounting systems, processes, and technologies Able to work independently while collaborating effectively with the accounting team Organized, dependable, and able to meet deadlines Willing to work 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM Vancouver Time Work Setup Hybrid work arrangement
