JOB TITLE / POSITION: SENIOR EMBEDDED SOFTWARE ENGINEER

FIELD: MEDICAL RELATED PROJECT

• FULL TIME, ONSITE (MAKATI CITY)
• NEGOTIABLE SALARY BASED ON SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

What you'll do

• Device control using real-time operating systems (RTOS)
• Data communication and management via Ethernet, CAN, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, USB
• Software development under medical standards, such as ISO 13485 and IEC 62304
• GUI development with LCD displays and touch panels, including safety-critical design
• Linux kernel customization, build systems, and device driver development
• Middleware and network service development experience

Requirements

• At least TEN (10) years of hands-on experience in embedded system development across multiple OS platforms.
• TARGET OPERATING SYSTEMS:
• ITRON-based OS (μITRON, TOPPERS)
• Embedded Linux
• Windows (embedded and desktop environments)
• Proven experience in leading software development projects
• Strong project planning, risk management, and team leadership skills
• Ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams (hardware, QA, regulatory)
• Preferably has experience in regulated industries (e.g., medical, automotive, industrial)
• Preferably familiar with CI/CD pipelines, version control systems (Git), and issue tracking tools (JIRA)
