Web Developer

LUXEVANITY TRADING OPC is seeking a talented Web Developer to join our growing technology team. This is a full-time position based in Poblacion, Makati City, Metro Manila. As a Web Developer, you will play a crucial role in designing, building, and maintaining our digital presence, creating engaging and functional web applications that support our business objectives. This role offers the opportunity to work on diverse projects whilst contributing to our technological innovation and digital transformation initiatives. What you'll be doing

• Develop, test, and deploy responsive web applications using modern programming languages and frameworks
• Collaborate with designers, product managers, and other stakeholders to translate requirements into technical specifications
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following industry best practices and coding standards
• Debug and troubleshoot web applications to identify and resolve technical issues efficiently
• Optimize web applications for performance, scalability, and user experience across multiple browsers and devices
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes
• Maintain and update existing web applications, implementing enhancements and security patches as needed
• Collaborate with backend developers and database administrators to ensure seamless integration of front-end and back-end systems

What we're looking for

• Proficiency in front-end technologies including Next. js, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript, with a solid understanding of web standards and best practices
• Experience with modern web development frameworks and libraries (such as React, Next.js, Angular, or similar)
• Knowledge of responsive design principles and experience developing mobile-friendly web applications
• Familiarity with version control systems (such as Git) and collaborative development workflows
• Understanding of web security principles and experience implementing secure coding practices
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
• Experience with RESTful APIs and integration with backend services
• Preferred: Experience with database technologies, backend development, or full-stack development
• Preferred: Knowledge of web performance optimization techniques and tools
• Preferred: Familiarity with agile development methodologies and sprint-based workflows
