About the role

The HR Officer is responsible for managing key HR functions with a focus on employee relations, workplace concerns, performance management, and HR compliance. The position handles sensitive employee matters, provides guidance and counseling, and works closely with management to address workplace issues and maintain a positive and professional work environment. Key responsibilities: Handle employee concerns, grievances, conflicts, and workplace issues. Conduct employee consultations, counseling, and coaching as appropriate. Assess employee behavior and workplace situations and recommend appropriate actions. Handle and document disciplinary cases and employee investigations. Assist management and department heads in resolving employee and performance-related issues. Oversee employee performance evaluations and address performance concerns. Manage the end-to-end recruitment and selection process, including job postings, screening, interviews, and onboarding. Implement and update HR policies, procedures, and the Employee Handbook. Ensure compliance with company policies and Philippine labor regulations. Monitor employee relations, engagement, and retention. Conduct exit interviews and identify causes of employee turnover. Prepare HR reports and provide recommendations to management. Organize company events, employee engagement activities, and outreach programs. Maintain confidentiality of sensitive employee and company information. Perform other HR-related duties as assigned by management. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. At least 2 years of relevant HR experience, preferably with experience in employee relations. Experience in handling employee concerns, conflict resolution, counseling, or disciplinary cases is preferred. Good understanding of workplace behavior and interpersonal dynamics. Strong communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Mature, empathetic, objective, and able to handle sensitive matters with discretion. Knowledge of Philippine labor laws is an advantage. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications. Must be willing to work in Las Piñas.
