Primary Montessori Teacher

We are seeking a Primary Montessori Teacher to join our school community in Cainta, Rizal or Dasmarinas, Cavite. This is a position where you sponsorship for AMS/MACTE Montessori Teacher training will be granted to the chosen candidate. You will play a vital role in shaping young minds using the Montessori method of education. You will be responsible for creating a stimulating, child-centred Montessori environment that fosters independence, critical thinking and a genuine love of learning.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons using the Montessori curriculum and philosophy, tailored to meet individual student needs and learning styles
• Prepare and maintain a carefully organised classroom environment with Montessori materials and resources that encourage self-directed exploration and discovery
• Observe and assess student progress through careful documentation, ensuring that each child's unique developmental pace is respected and supported
• Facilitate collaborative learning experiences and guide students in developing problem-solving skills and independence
• Communicate regularly with parents regarding their child's academic progress, behaviour and social-emotional development
• Collaborate with colleagues to maintain consistency in Montessori practices and contribute to the school's educational vision
• Create a nurturing, inclusive classroom atmosphere that respects cultural diversity and meets the needs of all learners
• Support the development of practical life skills, sensorial awareness and foundational academic concepts

• Strong knowledge of child development theory and the ability to apply Montessori principles in practice
• Excellent classroom management skills with the ability to maintain a calm, structured learning environment
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for building positive relationships with students, parents and colleagues
• Demonstrated ability to implement engaging, hands-on learning materials and activities
• Patience, empathy and a genuine commitment to child-centred education
