About the role

We are seeking an experienced General Sales Manager to join our team at Hyundai Laguna Inc. in Binan City, Laguna. This is a full-time position that will be instrumental in driving our sales performance and leading our sales department to achieve strategic business objectives. As General Sales Manager, you will oversee all sales operations, manage our sales team, and ensure we maintain our reputation for excellence in customer service and vehicle sales. This role reports directly to senior management and has a significant impact on the overall profitability and growth of the dealership.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement sales strategies to meet and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets
• Manage and supervise the sales team, including recruitment, training, coaching, and performance evaluation
• Monitor sales performance metrics and provide regular reporting to senior management
• Oversee customer acquisition, lead management, and conversion processes to optimise sales effectiveness
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to ensure satisfaction and encourage repeat business
• Coordinate with finance and administrative teams to ensure smooth transaction processing and customer paperwork completion
• Manage inventory coordination and ensure vehicles are displayed and maintained to the highest standard
• Develop promotional campaigns and pricing strategies to remain competitive in the market
• Conduct market analysis and competitor research to identify opportunities for business growth
• Ensure compliance with company policies, automotive regulations, and consumer protection legislation
• Participate in staff meetings and provide feedback to improve operational efficiency
• What we're looking for5+ years of experience in automotive sales management or similar sales management role within a competitive environment
• Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets and revenue goals
• Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and develop sales professionals
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships with customers and staff
• Knowledge of automotive industry practices, sales processes, and customer relationship management (CRM) systems
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and familiarity with sales management software
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or related field (preferred)
• Valid driver's license and knowledge of vehicle specifications and features (desirable)
