About the role
We are looking for an experienced SAP FI Accounts Receivable (AR) professional to join our team as a Custom Software Engineer / SAP FI SME. The role will focus on providing technical expertise in SAP FI Accounts Receivable, with strong emphasis on system integration across FI Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and General Ledger. The successful candidate will serve as a subject matter expert, work closely with multiple teams, provide technical solutions to complex business requirements, and help guide the team toward successful project delivery.
Key responsibilities
- Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for SAP FI Accounts Receivable.
- Provide technical guidance and solutions related to SAP FI AR processes and integrations.
- Analyze complex business requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions.
- Design, configure, customize, and support SAP FI solutions based on business requirements.
- Support system integration between FI Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and General Ledger.
- Collaborate with multiple technical and business teams to define and implement appropriate solutions.
- Participate in key technical and project decisions.
- Provide solutions to complex issues affecting the immediate team and cross-functional teams.
- Oversee and support technical implementation activities to ensure quality and alignment with requirements.
- Monitor project progress and recommend improvements to delivery timelines and solution quality.
About you
- Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, Finance, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of relevant experience in SAP FI Accounts Receivable.
- Strong hands-on expertise in SAP FI Accounts Receivable (FI-AR).
- Experience with system integration involving FI-AR, FI-AP, and General Ledger (GL).
- Strong understanding of financial accounting processes and their integration within ERP systems.
- Experience configuring and customizing SAP FI modules.
- Ability to analyze complex business and technical requirements.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Experience working with multiple technical and business teams.
