Full job description

JOB DESCRIPTION

We are looking for a talented Graphic Designer who will work for a Medical and Wellness Group that manages everything from concept creation to distribution, building, and managing their social media presence for its brands. You will manage our company image in a cohesive way to achieve our marketing goals. Must have excellent communication skills and be able to express the company’s views creatively.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Work across multiple brands and collaborate closely with our product development, marketing, and social teams to create on-brand, innovative concepts, and designs
• Design primary and secondary outer packaging for core products such as merchandise, kits, and seasonal products
• Work with vendors to modify and finalize packaging accordingly
• Concept, explore, and design packaging solutions for new products and launches including print material and marketing emails
• Design print materials including catalogs, ads, counter cards, event signage, public relations card, insert card, booth panel, etc. for the domestic and international markets.
• Work closely with the Social team on content and designs for social media posts and feeds
• Work closely with the Ecommerce team to create ads (website and emails) for all products launched and sales campaigns
• Create gifs, icons, and characters for various needs
• Retouch product and model photos for product launches
• Manage and organize files on the server for future access and revisions.
• Prepare rough drafts, present ideas, and amend final designs to department comments and gain full approval
• Stay up to speed on design trends in and out of the beauty industry
• Update the creative team project sheet accordingly to track deadlines for projects and upcoming events, and plan the priority list

QUALIFICATIONS

• Current portfolio to be submitted with your application
• 2-3 years of professional design experience at an Agency, Studio, or in-house department
• Bachelor of Arts in graphic design, multimedia, visual design or any related field preferred
• Mastery of industry-standard software to create logos, design reports, and complete other projects
• Ability to clearly communicate the reasoning behind design choices
• Expert in Macintosh Adobe Creative Suite design and illustration software especially InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator & Acrobat
• Possession of creative flair, versatility, concept/visual ability, and originality
• Ability to apply constructive feedback to strong, viable solutions
• Must be able to meet deadlines and complete assignments on time
