About the role
The Football Content Editor will cover local and international football, including major leagues, tournaments, national teams, Filipino players, and breaking developments.
Key Responsibilities
Write football news, match reports, previews, analysis, and features. Cover Philippine football and the national team. Monitor major international leagues and competitions, including the UEFA Champions League, Premier League, La Liga, Bundesliga, and MLS.Provide timely live-game updates. Research and verify scores, statistics, standings, and player information. Produce content for the Alta Sports app and social platforms. Coordinate with video and social media teams.
Qualifications
At least 2–3 years of professional sports writing/editing experience. Strong knowledge of football. Excellent writing and research skills. Familiarity with local and international football. Ability to work flexible hours based on international match
