Job description: Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Bookkeeper to maintain accurate financial records, handle accounting transactions, prepare financial reports, review payroll computations, and assist with product costing and BIR compliance. Key Responsibilities: Prepare and review journal entries and supporting documents. Maintain and update the General Ledger and Subsidiary Ledgers. Prepare financial statements and management reports. Review and verify payroll computations. Prepare and update product costing. Provide cost information to support pricing and operational decisions. Prepare monthly forecasts. Assist in the timely filing of BIR returns and other government-required reports. Monitor compliance with filing deadlines and coordinate with the accounting/tax consultant. Maintain organized and accurate accounting records and documents. Qualifications: Graduate of Bachelor of Science in Accountancy (BSA) or Bachelor of Science in Management Accounting (BSMA). With relevant experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar accounting role. Knowledge of accounting principles, bookkeeping, financial reporting, and product costing. Knowledge of BIR compliance and government-required reports is an advantage. Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software. Detail-oriented, organized, responsible, and trustworthy. Able to work independently and manage tasks efficiently. Employment Type: Full-time
