About the Role

We're looking for a hungry, ambitious, and highly motivated Software Engineer to join our team and help us build cutting-edge AI-powered software.

This isn't a role for someone who needs to be told exactly what to do every day. We're looking for someone with high agency who takes ownership, figures things out independently, and thrives in an environment where they have the freedom to solve challenging problems.

You'll work on real-world AI products, taking ideas from concept to production. You'll have the opportunity to experiment with the latest AI technologies, build intelligent systems, and make a meaningful impact on the products we're creating.

What You'll Be Doing

• Design, develop, and deploy AI-powered applications and features using modern AI technologies.
• Build and integrate applications using large language models (LLMs), including OpenAI, Anthropic Claude, and other leading AI models.
• Develop AI agents, automated workflows, and intelligent systems that solve real business problems.
• Build backend services, APIs, and integrations to support AI-powered applications.
• Work with retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), vector databases, embeddings, and LLM orchestration frameworks.
• Take ownership of features from initial concept through development, testing, and deployment.
• Independently investigate technical challenges, evaluate potential solutions, and implement the most effective approach.
• Experiment with emerging AI tools, frameworks, and technologies to improve our products and development processes.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
• Collaborate remotely with the wider team, communicating progress, identifying blockers, and delivering high-quality work.

What We're Looking For

Essential Requirements

• Computer Science Degree: A bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a closely related technical field.
• 2+ Years of Hands-On AI Software Development Experience: At least two years of professional experience building AI-powered software, with demonstrable experience developing and deploying real-world applications.
• Strong Software Engineering Fundamentals: Proficiency in Python, experience building APIs and backend applications, and a solid understanding of software architecture, databases, Git, and modern development practices.
• Practical Experience with AI and LLMs: Experience working with LLM APIs, prompt engineering, AI application development, and integrating AI models into production software.
• High Agency and Strong Ownership: You don't wait around for instructions. You're comfortable working with ambiguity, identifying what needs to be done, making decisions, and taking initiative to deliver results.
• Independent Remote Working: You're based in the Philippines, communicate effectively in English, manage your own time, and consistently deliver without needing constant supervision.

Nice to Have

• Experience with AI agent frameworks such as Lang

Chain, Lang

Graph, or similar technologies.

• Experience building RAG systems and working with vector databases such as Pinecone, Weaviate, or pgvector.
• Familiarity with TypeScript, JavaScript, React, or Next.js.
• Experience deploying applications using AWS, GCP, Azure, or other cloud platforms.
• Experience with Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and production monitoring.
• A portfolio of personal projects, GitHub repositories, or AI products you've built independently.
• Experience working in a startup or fast-paced product development environment.
