Product Manager

BRIEF DESCRIPTION AND PURPOSE OF THE POSITIONThe role involves assisting the organization by creating, managing, and cascading business (that may include technical) solutions to the product owners to execute product strategies. A Product Manager can oversee one or multiple products and work towards improving their business processes and identifying areas for improvement or opportunities through the collection, testing, and interpretation of data. They own solutions that may be in line with or different from product owners or tech points of view and are working with other cohorts within the organization to validate and deliver strategies to address business problems or attain goals.COMPETENCIESCreating, Managing, and Owning Business Solutions

Interpret and create diagrams depicting scoped business processes

Create high-level

requirements

• Secure approval on high-level requirements and diagrams from stakeholders
• Cascade and manage solutions assigned to product owners
• Data-Driven Collection, Interpretation, and Decision-Making
• Ingest and analyze market and consumer feedback and continuously guide the product toward sustainability
• Use data to support business decision-making
• Use data to determine necessary pivots or adjustments
• Collaborate and co-own dashboards with data teams, using methods to collect and interpret data for better product or business insights

QUALIFIED STANDARDSEducation

• Non-negotiable: Graduate of any IT-related course

Experience

• Non-negotiable:○ Preferably 7 - 9 years experience in the IT industry○ Has a clear understanding of Agile Delivery Process
• Preferable:○ Has 3 years of experience in business analysis or project management○ Has at least 2 years experience as a product owner○ Has experience working with insurance and claims-related products

Training

• Preferable:○ Taken up ITIL v4 and Agile / Lean / Scrum pieces of training

Certification
