About the role

We are seeking a Human Resource Specialist to join our team at Adventure Bay Resort & Theme Park in Magallanes, Makati City, Metro Manila. This is a full-time position that plays a vital role in supporting our Human Resources function and contributing to the success of our organisation. As a Human Resource Specialist, you will be instrumental in implementing HR policies, supporting employee development, and ensuring our workplace remains compliant with all relevant regulations. This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on our company culture and employee experience whilst working within a dynamic hospitality environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in the recruitment and selection process, including job posting, screening of applications, conducting interviews, and onboarding of new employees
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and personnel files in compliance with data protection regulations
• Support the administration of employee benefits programmes, including health insurance, leave management, and other entitlements
• Process payroll-related documentation and coordinate with payroll systems to ensure accurate and timely salary disbursements
• Provide support to employees regarding HR policies, procedures, and employee relations matters
• Assist in organising and coordinating training and development programmes for staff members
• Support the preparation of HR reports, metrics, and documentation for management review
• Ensure compliance with employment laws, labour regulations, and company policies
• Assist with employee engagement initiatives and workplace wellness programmes
• Support disciplinary and performance management processes as required

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a Human Resources role or similar HR-related position
• Knowledge of Philippine labour laws, employment regulations, and HR best practices
• Proficiency in HR information systems and Microsoft Office applications
• Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with employees at all levels
• Demonstrated discretion and confidentiality when handling sensitive employee information
• Problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to challenges
