We're building a community of industry practitioners who are passionate about helping others grow. As an Eskwelabs Mentor, you'll guide learners as they apply real-world concepts through hands-on projects, coaching, and feedback in our part-time learning programs.

Joining the Mentor Pool gives you access to recurring mentorship opportunities across Eskwelabs' learning programs. Shortlisted candidates may be invited to participate in projects based on their expertise, availability, and program needs.

About the Role

What You'll Teach

• You will guide learners through crafting a clear Product Vision & Strategy to align engineering, design, and business goals.
• You will teach learners how to apply frameworks like RICE, MoSCoW, and the Kano model for effective Prioritization techniques.
• You will coach learners on mapping out comprehensive and actionable Product Roadmaps.
• You will explain principles of User-Centered Design and help learners conduct rigorous User Research.
• You will facilitate sessions on designing an impactful User Journey Design.
• You will lead learners in adopting and executing Agile Methodologies within product development cycles.
• You will guide learners in setting up growth loops, A/B testing, and experimentation to drive product growth.
• You will demonstrate effective end-to-end Product Lifecycle Management practices.

Sample Learning Sprint

• You will coach learners by answering questions and guiding project execution during their practical workshops.
• You will encourage learner confidence, persistence, and collaboration within the group's learning environment.
• You will provide practical feedback to support learner progress and milestone performance throughout the sprint.
• You will review learner-submitted work during the week to call out strengths and suggest actionable improvements.

What we're looking for

We're looking for industry practitioners who enjoy sharing their expertise and helping others learn. Professional teaching experience is welcome but not required. We value real-world experience, curiosity, and a willingness to coach others.

What you'll do

• Coach learners through hands-on projects.
• Provide timely, actionable feedback.
• Answer learner questions and unblock challenges.
• Share industry best practices and encourage collaboration.

What you won't do

You will not be expected to

• Create learning materials from scratch.
• Deliver full lectures or develop curriculum.
• Complete work outside agreed mentorship commitments.
• Participate in on-site sessions unless you choose to join projects that require them.

Work Arrangement

Project assignments may be conducted remotely, onsite, or in a hybrid setup depending on the needs of each learning program.

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience
• Industry experience in Product Management
• Strong communication and facilitation skills
• Passion for mentoring, coaching, and developing adult learners
• Experience in one or more of the following:
• Product Strategy and Vision
• Product Roadmapping
• Product Discovery and User Research
• Product Lifecycle Management
• Agile/Scrum methodologies
• Product Backlog Management and Prioritization
• Product Requirements Documents (PRDs)
• A/B Testing and Experimentation
• Product Analytics (e.g., Mixpanel, Google Analytics, Amplitude)
• Design Thinking
• Cross-functional stakeholder management
• Figma, Miro, Jira, or similar collaboration and product management tools
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
• Excellent planning, organization, and time management skills
• Comfortable mentoring learners with varying levels of experience
• Teaching, facilitation, or coaching experience is a plus but not required
