Quality Assurance Engineer (IT Services)

Concepcion Business Services, Inc. is seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer (IT Services) to join our growing Technology team. This is a full-time position based in Muntinlupa City, Metro Manila. As a Quality Assurance Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality IT services and solutions to our clients. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and executing comprehensive testing strategies that identify defects, validate functionality, and ensure that all deliverables meet or exceed our clients' expectations and industry standards. This position is integral to maintaining our reputation for excellence and driving continuous improvement across our service offerings. What you'll be doing

Designs, develops, and executes automated and manual tests to ensure product quality using open-source tools. Identifies, records, documents, and tracks bugs. Performs thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved. Develops and applies testing processes for new and existing products to meet client needs. Liaises with internal teams (e.g., developers and product managers) to identify system requirements. Reviews quality specifications and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback

Creates detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases. Reviews requirements, specifications and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback

• Creates detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases
• Designs, develops and executes automation scripts

Identifies, records, documents thoroughly and track bugs. Develops and applies testing processes for new and existing products to meet client needs. Monitors debugging process results. Investigates the causes of non-conforming software and train users to implement solutions

Tracks quality assurance metrics, like defect densities and open defect counts

Stays up to date with new testing tools and test strategies.

• Performs other tasks that maybe assigned from time to time in relation to the overall job function and objectives. What we're looking for

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related field. Proven experience as a Quality Assurance Engineer or in a similar testing role within IT services or software development

• Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, tools, and best practices
• Knowledgeable in software development (.NET) and SDLC Knowledgeable in different software testing and test management tools
