DevOps Engineer

BUILTAMART is seeking for a skilled and proactive DevOps Engineer to manage, automate, and optimize our software deployment pipelines and cloud infrastructure. In this role, you will bridge the gap between software development and systems operations, working closely with cross-functional teams to build resilient infrastructure, automate processes, and ensure high availability and security across all environments.

Key Responsibilities

CI/CD & Automation: Design, build, and maintain automated Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines for seamless software delivery. Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Provision, manage, and scale cloud infrastructure using tools such as Terraform, Cloud

Formation, or Ansible. Cloud Infrastructure & Architecture: Maintain and optimize public/private cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP) to ensure scalability, reliability, and cost-efficiency. Containerization & Orchestration: Implement and manage containerized environments using Docker and Kubernetes. Monitoring & Alerting: Set up comprehensive logging, monitoring, and alerting frameworks (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, ELK stack) to proactively address system issues. Security & Compliance (DevSecOps): Integrate security best practices into the CI/CD pipeline, manage access controls (IAM), and ensure infrastructure compliance. Incidents & Troubleshooting: Participate in an on-call rotation, perform root-cause analysis for system failures, and lead disaster recovery exercises. Qualifications &

Requirements

Experience: 3+ years of experience in a DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), or Systems Engineering role. Cloud Computing: Hands-on experience with major cloud providers (AWS, Azure, or GCP). Containerization: Proficiency with Docker and orchestration platforms like Kubernetes (EKS, AKS, GKE). Infrastructure as Code: Proven track record writing maintainable IaC with Terraform, Ansible, or similar frameworks.CI/CD Tools: Deep experience configuring tools such as GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, or Argo

CD.Scripting & Automation: Strong scripting capability in Python, Bash, Go, or similar languages. Networking & Security: Understanding of networking concepts (VPCs, DNS, load balancers, VPNs) and security principles (SSL/TLS, IAM, secrets management). Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills

Experience with serverless architectures (e.g., AWS Lambda, Cloud Functions). Certification in cloud engineering (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, CKA/CKAD). Knowledge of database administration, performance tuning, and backup strategies (SQL/NoSQL). What we Offer at Builta
