Accountant - US Experience

About the Role

We seeking a detail-oriented Accountant with strong experience in journal entries and financial reporting. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in Sage Intacct, familiarity with Ramp (invoice system), and a background in healthcare or nursing home accounting. This role is suited for a junior to mid-level accountant with 5–8 years of experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and post journal entries with accuracy and timeliness.
• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts.
• Process invoices and expense reports, preferably using Ramp.
• Manage accounts payable/receivable and ensure proper documentation.
• Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closings.
• Generate financial reports using Sage Intacct and support management with
• analysis.
• Ensure compliance with healthcare/nursing home industry accounting standards
• and regulations.

• Collaborate with finance and operations teams to streamline accounting

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 5–8 years of accounting experience, preferably in healthcare or nursing home
• settings.
• Hands-on experience with Sage Intacct (required).
• Familiarity with Ramp invoice system (preferred).
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and healthcare-related financial compliance.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting systems.
• High attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to meet deadlines.
• CPA or equivalent certification is a plus.
