Field Sales Supervisor

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Supervise and manage the daily activities of Salesmen, Van Salesmen, and/or Booking Sales Representative within the assigned territories
• Ensure achievement of sales volume, distribution, collection, and productivity targets
• Conduct regular fieldwork (van rides, store visits, and account checks) to monitor execution and compliance
• Implement sales programs, promos, and product launches in coordination with management
• Monitor product availability, visibility, pricing, and merchandising standards in the trade
• Handle and support the team in negotiation and issue resolution
• Prepare and submit accurate sales reports, forecasts, and area performance analyses
• Ensure timely collections and adherence to credit and collection policies
• Coordinate with Warehouse, Logistics, and Finance teams to address delivery, inventory, and operational concerns
• Enforce company rules, sales policies, and standard operating procedures
• Coach, train, and motivate the sales team to improve performance and discipline

Perform other tasks as may be assigned by the Direct Head.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or any related course
• At least 2–3 years of experience as a Sales Supervisor or Senior Salesman in an FMCG distribution setup
• Strong knowledge of traditional trade, van selling, and distributor operations
• Proven track record in achieving sales and collection targets
• Experience handling multiple territories or regions is an advantage
• Willing to do extensive fieldwork and travel assigned area
• Proficient in MS Excel and basic reporting tools
