Outbound Sales Representative (Logistics/Freight) | WFH | Night Shift

About the Role This role is ideal for a sales-driven logistics professional with strong outbound calling, negotiation, and relationship-building skills. Candidates with backgrounds in carrier sales, freight brokerage, logistics coordination, dispatch, transportation, or outbound sales are encouraged to apply. Key Responsibilities: Source and contact qualified carriers through phone, email, and other channels. Negotiate rates, accessorials, and load terms. Book loads while meeting customer, pickup, and delivery requirements. Build and maintain strong carrier relationships. Verify carrier availability, equipment, lanes, insurance, and operating authority. Coordinate load details between carriers, customers, and operations/dispatch teams. Enter and maintain accurate load information in the TMS. Track booked loads and follow up with carriers to ensure commitments are maintained. Handle rate confirmations, load tenders, and booking documentation. Resolve scheduling, rate, and capacity issues promptly. Maintain accurate records of carrier communications and negotiations. Meet daily and weekly booking, revenue, and activity goals. Qualifications 3+ years of experience in logistics, freight brokerage, transportation, dispatch, carrier sales, outbound sales, or a related field. Strong understanding of the U.S. trucking and freight industry. Proven experience with high-volume outbound calls, prospecting, or sales. Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills. Ability to manage multiple loads and priorities in a fast-paced environment. Experience with TMS platforms and/or load boards such as DAT or Truckstop. Proficiency in HubSpot and Microsoft Office. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
