Senior Quality Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sr. Quality Engineer in Test to join our AI-driven QE Transformation Team. You will be part of our fast-paced team, helping to modernize our Quality Engineering approach and driving best practices using the latest technology, with a particular focus on AI adoption to achieve these goals. This is a highly technical role that requires strong hands-on expertise as well as excellent communication and leadership skills.

Position Responsibilities

• Design and implement advanced test automation frameworks and AI-driven test solutions to enhance test coverage and quality.
• Develop and promote highly reliable code to improve maintainability and reusability.
• Integrate tools into enterprise DevOps pipelines to enable end-to-end automation of integration, and functional testing.
• Enhance and support applications based on industry standards and best practices (AI or automation tools).
• Drive adoption of modern test automation frameworks and tools across the organization.
• Establish and enforce automation standards, frameworks, and best practices.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor of Engineering or higher, preferably in Computer Science or Engineering.
• 7+ years of experience in the QA / SDET discipline.
• Experience in building and creating test framework (Java, Python, or JavaScript) is required
• Amenable to work on a night shift work schedule (8pm to 5am) and hybrid work set up (3x a week onsite reporting in Mactan New Town office)
• Experience building and maintaining test frameworks using tools such as Selenium, Appium, Rest Assured, Pytest, Web

Driver

IO, Playwright, and Cucumber is preferrable but not required

• Experience using tools such as Postman, GitHub, GitLab, Git, JIRA, Xray for JIRA, Power BI, New Relic, Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Team

City is preferrable but not required

• Ability to rapidly learn new technologies and programming languages.
• Knowledge of using AI tools to support development and testing, such as GenAI, GitHub Copilot, and Agentic AI.
• Experience in LLM models, Prompt Engineering, and Copilot for Test Automation.
• Experience working with cloud-based testing platforms such as Perfecto, Sauce Labs, Browser

Stack, or AWS Device Farm.

• Must understand the following concepts: Behavior-Driven Development (BDD), Test-Driven Development (TDD), Shift-left, Mocks and Stubs, Service Virtualization, Synthetic Data, and DevOps: CI/CD/CT.
• Understand the software design lifecycle, architecture principles, design patterns, and different types of tests.
