About the role
The Human Resources Staff – Employee Relations & Discipline is responsible for supporting the Human Resources Department in maintaining positive employee relations, proper workplace conduct, and compliance with company policies and procedures. The position focuses on employee concerns, attendance and behavioral issues, disciplinary cases, incident documentation, investigations, and implementation of company rules. The HR Staff will work closely with employees, supervisors, and department heads to ensure that workplace concerns are properly addressed, documented, and resolved in a fair and consistent manner.
Key responsibilities
- Act as one of the HR representatives for employee concerns, complaints, and workplace issues
- Listen to employee concerns and coordinate with the HR Manager regarding appropriate actions
- Assist in resolving misunderstandings or conflicts between employees and departments
- Monitor compliance with company rules, policies, procedures, and workplace standards
- Receive and review reports regarding employee violations and misconduct
- Assist in documenting disciplinary cases and preparing appropriate HR documentation including Incident Reports, Notices to Explain, and Written Warnings
- Assist in investigating employee incidents, complaints, and reported violations by gathering relevant information and conducting employee interviews
- Monitor employee attendance, tardiness, undertime, absences, and other attendance-related concerns
- Maintain organized employee 201 files and disciplinary records
- Prepare regular reports on employee relations and disciplinary cases
About you
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Psychology, Business Administration, or related field
- Preferably at least 1 year of experience in Human Resources, Employee Relations, or Administrative work
- Experience handling employee concerns and disciplinary cases is an advantage
- Knowledge of basic Philippine labor standards and HR practices is preferred
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Strong documentation and record-keeping skills
- Able to handle confidential employee information properly
- Detail-oriented and organized
- Proficient in Microsoft Office/Google Workspace and other HR-related tools
