Your Role
As a Cloud Operations Engineer, you will be responsible for managing, optimizing, and supporting mission-critical cloud environments across multiple platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure high availability, performance, security, and scalability of cloud-based systems
- Collaborate with SRE teams and cross-functional stakeholders in a fast-paced environment
- Act as an escalation point for technical issues, leading troubleshooting and root cause analysis
- Perform systems administration, monitoring, and incident management
- Contribute to automation, process improvements, and operational documentation
- Analyze system performance and provide data-driven recommendations
- Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) in cloud platforms and services
- Lead or support engineering initiatives and continuous improvement projects
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in cloud operations (AWS required)
- Hands-on experience with at least one additional cloud platform (Azure, GCP, or Alibaba Cloud)
- Experience in multi-cloud or hybrid cloud environments (design/architecture is a plus)
- Strong background in DevOps and CI/CD practices
- Experience with tools such as Git, GitLab, GitHub, Jenkins, Team
City, Spinnaker, Artifactory
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes or container orchestration platforms
- Exposure to technical support, infrastructure, and platform services
- Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS SysOps) are an advantage
Nice to Have
- Experience in SRE practices, observability, and monitoring tools
- Knowledge of automation scripting (Python, Bash)
- Familiarity with incident management and reliability engineering
